Embrace Conference is a ministry of Summit Church - in partnership with Apex Baptist - as an opportunity to serve foster, adoptive and kinship families of the Triangle and surrounding areas.

Our goal is to provide relevant and practical content in a fun and relaxing environment. Most of all we hope you
will find encouragement through community that will extend beyond this weekend.

Recharge Respite Night - Waitlist -

The Recharge childcare spots for Friday night have filled up! We currently have a waitlist. If you’d like to be added to the waitlist, please email us!

Organized under the monthly Recharge respite structure, kids will have a blast with games, crafts, and new friends while parents attend sessions. Volunteers are background checked, trauma informed and love hanging out with your kids! Plus, we’ve got dinner covered — pizza and snacks!

Brittany Salmon

Dr. Brittany Salmon is a professor and the author of It Takes More Than Love - a book on cross-cultural adoption published by Moody Publishers. Brittany is passionate about taking theology and applying it to everyday life, and yet the people closest to her know her as the friend who loves oversized sweatpants and good conversation over coffee. She lives in Wilmington, NC with her husband, Ben, and their five children.
